For the translocated individual, birthmarks of affiliation can be physical and non-physical. This exhibition presents questions, research, and findings into the inscription of belonging through art. A mixing of idioms and accents, unbound by a fixed location, come together to create the third space — a porous collective built upon transcultural communication and an understanding of nuances.

The role of language and positionality arising between the works issues a direction into defining what translocation is.
